Roles & Responsibilities

Leong San Buddhist Temple, a vibrant and welcoming Buddhist temple, seeks a passionate and detail-oriented Accounts & Operations Executive to join our team in a part-time capacity with a compressed workweek. This unique schedule allows for greater flexibility and work-life balance while ensuring efficient completion of tasks.

About the Role:

Be part of ensuring the smooth financial operations of our Temple In this role, you'll learn valuable skills while handling a variety of tasks. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with managing daily receipts, payments, and petty cash.
  • Processing donations, including handling donation box monies and online transactions (training provided).
  • Preparing checks and payment vouchers (with guidance).
  • Ensuring that all the books and documents are properly kept and filed neatly.
  • Assisting with banking cash deposits.

Who We're Looking For:

  • Willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in written CHINESE and spoken MANDARIN ESSENTIAL
  • Basic computer skills, desire to learn new software.
  • A reliable and committed team player with a positive and adaptable approach.

Qualifications:

  • No minimum qualification required and fresh graduates are welcome
  • No prior accounting experience necessary – we'll provide comprehensive training
  • Fluency in written and spoken Mandarin.

Schedule:

  • Part-Time: 5 Days/Week (Weekend work is required.)
  • 8.00am to 4.00pm (1 hour lunch break)
  • Flexible schedule can be discussed.
