Roles & Responsibilities

We are recruiting a full-time/ Locum Physiotherapist/ Senior Physiotherapist for a local healthcare institution in the intermediate and long-term care (ILTC) sector.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments of the client's mobility status, physical strength, joint motion, cardiopulmonary endurance, balance, fall risk and pain level etc.
  • Set suitable therapeutic goals and develop and implement suitable intervention plans for the client, including planning active and passive exercises to improve or restore range of motion, physical strength, flexibility, co-ordination, balance and endurance etc.
  • Conduct trainings to TAs as and when required to ensure competent implementation of your intervention plans and wheelchair transfers etc.
  • Provide functional mobility training and gait training.
  • Provide advice on the use of assistive ambulatory devices such as walking aids and prosthetic devices.
  • Conduct caregiver training and patient education.
  • Plan and implement community integration activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy
  • Full AHPC Registration
  • 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting
  • Passionate about Physiotherapy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in local languages will be an advantage
  • Self-motivated to engage in continuous learning and education in the field of Physiotherapy
