Responsibilities:
  • Lead all activities related to theSafety Case in line with MHI (Major Hazard Installation)regulations.
  • Keep plant process safetyinformation up to date.
  • Oversee the ESH budgetand spending.
  • Approve purchases of ESH-relatedconsumables and equipment.
  • Ensure compliancewith legal, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements.
  • Support major plant shutdown activities.
  • Maintain the legal register and monitorcompliance.
  • Organize required assessments(e.g., stack emissions, IHM, noise).
  • Coordinate employee health assessments.
  • Lead risk and EAI assessments for any processchanges.
  • Develop, review, and updateESH-related work procedures and SOPs.

Requirements:
  • Degree in ESH, Chemical Engineering,or a related field.
  • Certified WSH Officer(Level C).
  • Certified Confined Space Assessorand Work-at-Height (WAH) Assessor.
  • BizSafeLevel 2 certification.
  • At least 5 years ofrelevant experience, including 3 years in a similarrole.
  • Experience in vendor management and ISOsystems.
  • Familiar with liaising withgovernment agencies.
  • Proficient in MicrosoftOffice (intermediate level).
  • Strong leadershipskills to manage the ESH team and meet department KPIs.
  • Knowledge of ISO 45001, SS651, and ISO 14001standards.
  • Skilled in conducting riskassessments and EAI assessments.
  • Experiencedin leading accident investigations.
  • Understanding of the ACTA framework.
  • Good planning and organizational skills to manage tasksand resources effectively.
  • Strong written andverbal communication skills.
  • Passionate aboutworkplace safety and health (WSH).
  • Demonstrates integrity and professionalism.
  • Firm yet fair when addressing issues and managingstaff.
