Roles & Responsibilities
  • Achieve and surpass the site's budgeted trading targets.
  • Ensure customers comply with contract payment terms.
  • Manage consigned stock in line with contractual commitments.
  • Promote and maintain health and safety standards for staff and visitors, adhering to company and customer policies, and report any non-compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with company systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Deliver on customer commitments, including cost savings, inventory reduction, and logistics efficiency.
  • Provide timely reports, KPIs, and feedback to support planning, budgeting, and performance management.
  • Use preferred suppliers and build supplier relationships to reduce costs and meet service agreements.
  • Clearly define team roles, motivate staff, and support their development.
  • Prepare monthly engineering reports and assist with site audits.
  • Work closely with customer engineers on maintenance planning and scheduling.
  • Manage and update master data in the customer's CMMS.
  • Handle and execute change requests.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Engineering or Supply Chain Management (relevant experience may also be considered).
  • At least 2 years of experience in business development or management within a fast-paced industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with the industrial consumables/MRO market, products, and applications.
  • Proficient in Windows programs and integrated systems for sales order processing and stock management.
  • Experience with enterprise systems like SAP.
