About the job

  • Apply your in-depth understanding of actuarial principles to support pricing, reserves, and profitability analysis for motor insurance products.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of strategic business plans, helping shape the future direction of the company's insurance offerings.
  • Assist in analyzing data trends, and presenting insights to senior management.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of business strategies with financial goals and market trends.
  • Provide recommendations for product optimization and help assess profitability across motor insurance products.

Skills and experience required

  • Fully qualified or progressing toward qualification with a recognized actuarial body (e.g., FIA, FSA, etc.).
  • At least 3-5 years of actuarial experience, ideally in the general insurance industry, with a strong focus on motor insurance products.
  • Proven ability to analyze complex data, model financial outcomes, and support strategic business decisions.
  • Keen interest in moving beyond traditional actuarial functions into a business strategy role, with the ability to impact the company's direction through data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams and senior management.
