Responsibilities

  • Manage financial reporting activities to ensure compliance with accounting regulations, laws and standards
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of accounting activities for monthly-closing in SAP
  • Review and consolidate financial statements, balance sheet account schedules annd variance analyis
  • Lead and develop a team of accounting professionals
  • Liaise with external auditors on annual statutory audits
  • Support management reporting requirements to joint venture partners, government authorities and other stakeholders
  • Analyse and interpret impact of new accounting standards, reporting requirements and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions
  • Provide technical expertise and advice on complex accounting issues
  • Strengthen current internal controls and improve Finance processes and systems

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent qualification
  • Minimum 12 years of relevant experience with hands-on experience in preparing consolidated financial/management reports
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Strong people management, leadership, communication and analytical skills
  • Be a part of process improvement and finance transformation projects
