Job Description – Junior Technician (iSlurp Vending Machines)

About iSlurp:

iSlurp operates fresh apple juice vending machines across Singapore. Each machine crushes Fuji apples on-site to serve hygienic, premium juice. Our machines are advanced, with proprietary cleaning and capacity systems.

Position: Junior Technician
  • Salary: SGD 2,800 – 3,200 per month + health insurance
  • Progression: Salary review possible at Month 6 based on performance. We will ensure your salary remains competitive as the goal is to keep you as we grow.
  • Location: Singapore (with training travel to China)
Key Responsibilities
We are very hands-on and you will have to both repair the machine and also help with day-to-day operations.
  1. Technical Repairs & Maintenance

    Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair vending machine spare parts including:

    Motors, pumps, sensors, compressors

    Control boards, relays, wiring, display units

    Gearboxes, belts, pulleys, valves

    Water systems, tubing, solenoids

    Refrigeration units, cooling fans, condensers

    Sealing and cup-dispensing mechanisms

    Work with manufacturer's engineers in China (training provided).
  2. Operations Support (Initial Phase)

    Assist with daily replenishment of apples and cups.

    Clean and maintain machines to ensure food safety standards.

    Collect and dispose of apple waste responsibly.

    Support warehouse and logistics handling.
  3. Driving & Logistics

    Hold a valid driving license (Class 3 or equivalent).

    Drive leased company van/car to transport apples, staff, and machine parts.
  4. Team Collaboration

    Work under Senior Operations Manager to implement SOPs.

    Provide regular feedback on machine performance and technical issues.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Mandarin (to communicate with manufacturer's technical team in China).
  • Familiarity with working on mechanical and electrical spare parts such as motors, pumps, sensors, wiring, and cooling systems.
  • Poly degree preferred, but if you're smart and hard working and good at fixing things, we will overlook it.
  • Possess a valid Singapore driving license.
  • Hands-on, willing to help with both operations and repairs in early stages.
  • Basic technical diploma or equivalent experience in electrical/mechanical repair preferred.
  • Willing to travel overseas (China) for training.
