A Pool Attendant with Conrad Hotels andResorts builds relationships with guests who visit the wellnessfacilities, including the Gymnasium & Swimming Pool and offersproactive service and assistance to thoseindividuals.

What will I bedoing?

As a Pool Attendant, youwill interact daily with guests who visit the wellness facilities,including the Fitness Centre & Swimming Pool and help,proactively, and as requested by guests. Specifically, a PoolAttendant will complete the following tasks to the higheststandards:
  • Knowledgeable about theproducts and services offered in the Fitness Centre & SwimmingPool
  • Handle issuance of towels, lockersmanagement and minimize loss of items
  • Solicitfeedback from guests to share with Director of GuestExperience
  • Ensure that Fitness Centre guestsreceive efficient, friendly, consistent, and personalizedservice
  • Ensure the safety of Team Member,Fitness Centre guests always
  • Ensurecleanliness of the gymnasium, changing rooms and pool area(including deck chairs, cabanas and umbrellas)
  • Coordinate with the IRD team to provide assistance onagreed level of service at the pool (including the serving of icewater and towels on arrival)
  • Ensure that thepool is maintained to the highest standards, which requires theengagement of external vendors to provide specialized equipment andexpertise in pool cleaning
  • Oversee the safetyof swimmer and prevent injury by providing supervision to the areaat regular intervals (e.g patron around the pool) reactingimmediately to any emergency and identify and possible signs ofdistress
  • Provide pool rescue in accordancewith set emergency procedures
  • Inform guestswhen necessary to abide by the rules and regulations of thepool
  • Perform regular inspections of swimmingpool and lifesaving equipment in the swimming pool
  • Familiar with swimming pool SOPs and adhere torequirements such as pool surveillance procedures, emergency actionplans

  • Previous experience workingat a similar setting
  • Relevant, current, andvalid qualifications
  • Strong customer awarenessand focus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills andthe ability to communicate with guests
  • Eagerto learn with the required product knowledge
  • Able to multi-task and able to work independently &as a team
  • Able to swim
  • Possess valid Standard CPR and AEDcertification
  • Possess valid Standard First Aidcertification
