Core Responsibilities
  • Assess clients' career interests, skills, and employment barriers through structured interviews and standardized assessments.
  • Create and implement tailored career and job search plans aligned with each client's strengths and goals.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching on résumé writing, cover letters, job applications, and interview techniques (including mock interviews).
  • Deliver group workshops on job search strategies, networking, labour market trends, and workplace readiness.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, community organizations, and training providers to facilitate job matching and placement.
  • Monitor clients' progress throughout their job search journey, offering post-placement support to improve job retention.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential case notes and documentation in compliance with organizational policies and data protection regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
  • Certification: CEI Certificate (preferred).
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years' relevant experience in career services, employment support, or workforce development.
  • Essential Skills:

    - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to actively listen and motivate clients.

    - Proficient in using career assessment tools and online job portals.

    - Meticulous with documentation and able to manage case records systematically.

    - Empathy and cultural sensitivity when engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds.

    - Effective in building and maintaining networks with employers and community stakeholders.
