Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Visual Communication & Experience Design Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should have an interest in niche fragrances. As an intern, your main responsibility will be to enhance the consumer experience visually, both online and offline, by effectively communicating and showcasing our Scent Journer fragrance products. Your role will involve utilizing your content creation skills to help consumers understand our products visually, without relying solely on the sense of smell. Additionally, you will contribute to increasing the average order value through visually appealing and innovative designs.

Responsibility:

  • Visual Communication:

Develop creative and visually compelling content that effectively communicates the unique qualities and benefits of our Scent Journer fragrance products.

  • Online Experience:

Collaborate with creative director to create visually engaging content for our website, social media platforms, and online advertising campaigns. Ensure the design elements align with our brand identity and enhance the consumer experience.

  • Offline Experience:

Assist in the development of visually captivating packaging designs, point-of-sale materials, and other physical collaterals that effectively convey the essence of our fragrance products.

  • Consumer Understanding:

Conduct research on consumer preferences, market trends, and competitor analysis to gain insights into visual communication strategies that resonate with our target audience. This include engage directly with customers to understand, gather feedback, and identify areas for improvement in the customer experience.

  • User Experience Enhancement:

Opportunity for your input on design considerations in product development that enhance the overall consumer experience to be launch.

  • Creative Problem Solving:

Develop innovative visual solutions to improve the consumer's understanding and engagement with our fragrance products, focusing on increasing the average order value. Intern will be involved in sales and pricing strategy too.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Strong visual communication skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics, with strong creative and design skills.
  • Demonstrated interest in luxury fragrances and knowledge of the fragrance industry.
  • Proactive with the ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for understanding consumer behavior and translating it into impactful visual experiences.
  • Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and iterate on designs.
  • Confidence in interacting with customers to identify the visual communication gap.
