Roles & Responsibilities

Child care centre in Pasir Ris looking for Full Time Cleaner

Job Role

1. Perform daily cleaning of toilets, classrooms, office and common areas, shelves, cabinet, shoe racks, cubbies, children's tables and chairs (including dining area)

2. Disinfect and sanitise where necessary.

3. Perform regular cleaning (based on schedule) of windows, doors, furniture and fixtures.

4. Cleans area if children soil themselves

5. Clears rubbish from classroom/office

6. Maintain and stock-take cleaning supplies

7. Perform other duties as and when assigned.

8. Assist in kitchen when needed

Requirement

1. Punctual, neat and responsible

2. Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving around the childcare centre.

3. Ability to work effectively in an environment with young children.

4. Speak Simple English

5. Demonstrate competence in maintaining cleanliness.

6. Knowledge of hygiene practices, and proper cleaning techniques.

7. Certificate in Food Handling and Safety is an advantage.

8. Knowledge of food safety standards
