Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As a functional BA,

  • Analyze and prepare business requirements and relevant report mapping and assist in users' issues
  • Provide support in data mapping and data structure documentation for data mart design and vendor data model
  • Review of FSD and perform the necessary for FSD signoff
  • Participate in system rehearsal, cutover, and implementation
  • Report, document, monitor, and respond or resolve any review points
  • Review and update UAT test plans and test cases
  • Update user procedure manuals
  • Provide updates on the status for the tasks to the PMO or project lead
  • Ensure information sharing within the Department
  • Conduct necessary system trainings to finance users

As a test manager and tester,

  • Prepare test cases and test scenarios and test readiness tasks with IT and vendor
  • Draft the UAT plans, end to end scope, assign the tasks to testers, issue escalation, change requests
  • Ensure the required test artifacts are produced for entry and exit criteria for UAT
  • Run working group meetings to ensure the test activities are executed and to discuss defect status and resolution and manage the execution
  • Manage UAT logs, organization of UAT results, test evidence and issue logs
  • Conduct UAT and executes all test cases
  • Record results and evidence whether test cases pass or fail
  • If the test case fails, record issue log and update working group
  • Ensure quality and consistency of test case result, test evidence, issue status and retesting once a fix has been delivered
  • Submission and closure of defects

Adhoc

  • From time to time when there are system upgrades, coordinate with IT on the UAT activities and UAT testing

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 5-10 yrs Experience
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills to support business analysis activities
  • Proven experience in test planning, execution, and management
  • Hands-on testing expertise across functional and non-functional domains
  • Good communication skills, able to collaborate across different teams and functions
