Job description
  • You will be responsible for the development of complex IT architectures in innovative software solutions and for providing strategic-technological advice to our customers.
  • You will manage teams from a technical perspective from kick-off to roll-out and will be in close contact with the project management team.
  • With your leadership skills, you will win over, inspire, and mobilize your project team and our customers for ideas.
  • By coaching your team members in Software Engineering and Architecture and in the application of agile principles, you will make a decisive contribution to the success of a wide range of projects.
  • With your skills and experience, you will further develop our network of experts and work on group-wide initiatives for the continuous improvement of software development.

  • You have a degree (bachelor's/master's) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • You have at least five years of experience as a Software Engineer and/or Architect.
  • You have knowledge in the development of highly available and secure cloud solutions as well as expertise in software architectures and documentation (especially in microservices and domain-driven design as well as with tools such as UML and Arc42).
  • You are very experienced in the Backend (e.g., Java, Spring Boot, SQL/NoSQL databases, Apache Kafka) and ideally also in the Frontend (e.g., React or Angular).
  • You have knowledge of DevOps/GitOps, in particular CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, and monitoring, as well as security (e.g., OAuth2, OIDC, authentication, and authorization).
  • You bring convincing leadership qualities and a coaching and mentoring mentality, as well as a growth mindset and the willingness to learn continuously.
  • You are willing to actively shape and develop the career of your colleagues.
  • You are an experienced leader and a decisive success factor for the agile development process in project teams. This involves close cooperation with project management.
