Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • 1. Assist the Design Manager in overseeing architectural and engineering design processes for construction projects.
  • 2. Coordinate with internal teams (e.g., engineers, contractors) and external stakeholders (e.g., clients, consultants) to ensure design alignment with project requirements.
  • 3. Prepare and review design drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities) to ensure compliance with Singapore regulations (e.g., BCA, URA).
  • 4. Monitor design changes and update documentation accordingly.
  • 5. Provide technical guidance to junior designers and drafters.
  • 6. Resolve design conflicts and propose cost-effective solutions.
  • 7. Track design milestones and deadlines to ensure timely delivery.
  • 8. Conduct site visits to verify design implementation and address on-site issues.
  • 9. . Utilize design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) to optimize workflows.
  • 10. Stay updated on industry trends and sustainable design practices.
