Roles & Responsibilities

5-Days Part-Time Student Care Trainer @ Hougang Ave 1 or Hougang Ave 5

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday & Shifts:

  • 10:30 AM – 5:00 PM (including a 1-hour lunch break)
  • 12:30 PM – 7:00 PM (Closing Shift / When the last student leaves)
  • 12:30 PM – 6:30 PM
  • 1:15 PM – 6:15 PM
  • 1:15 PM – 5:45 PM

This position requires a commitment of 5 working days per week, excluding scheduled centre closure days and public holidays.

Availability guarantees assignment of a shift. Shifts will be fairly distributed among trainers to ensure all trainers are exposed to various roles and become familiar with operational requirements. Trainers will not have the option to select their shifts, and scheduling will be based on overall operational needs.

Salary:

  • $11 per hour

Job Scope:

  • Oversee meal times, homework, revision, and activities
  • Communicate regularly with parents and students
  • Provide discipline and guidance in character development

Requirements:

  • Proactive: Able to work independently without frequent reminders.
  • Caring: Demonstrates genuine concern for students' well-being.
  • Efficient: Prompt in checking homework and updating parents.
  • Strong Classroom Management: Maintains order assertively and ensures a focused environment.
  • Disciplinary: Enforces rules confidently and upholds discipline effectively.
  • Available to work five days per week, or according to a pre-agreed schedule established during the interview.
