Roles & Responsibilities

Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced ESG Finance Manager to join our team in Singapore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the full spectrum of financial and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards, and driving financial insights through data analytics. This role will require expertise in SAP systems, Power BI, and Tableau to support financial reporting, budgeting, and decision-making processes. The individual will also collaborate with regional teams and play a key role in ensuring operational efficiency and compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounting Operations: Manage full sets of accounts, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets. Oversee monthly financial closing and preparation of financial statements in compliance with Accounting Reporting Standards.
  • Taxation and Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring adherence to local tax regulations and liaising with tax authorities as needed. Handle audit processes, including coordinating with external auditors and preparing audit schedules and financial reports.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain financial models and dashboards using Power BI and Tableau for management reporting and data-driven decision-making. Provide variance analysis and financial insights to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • System Expertise: Leverage SAP systems for efficient financial operations, reporting, and data analysis. Identify and implement opportunities to optimize SAP workflows and processes.
  • Internal Controls and Process Improvement: Implement and maintain robust internal controls to ensure data accuracy and safeguard company assets. Continuously enhance accounting policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Training and Collaboration: Attend a 4 weeks training program at Taipei, Taiwan to develop expertise in SAP and internal processes. Collaborate with Beijing subsidiary accounting staff, providing training and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA, CPA, ACCA) is highly preferred.
  • Experience and Skills: At least 5 years of experience in accounting roles, of which 3 years in a senior accountant position, with the ability to independently manage bookkeeping, tax filings, and audit processes. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with strong familiarity with SAP systems. Advanced analytical skills with expertise in Power BI and Tableau for financial modeling and reporting.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional and regional teams. Proactive problem-solver with excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Additional Attributes: Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy. Willingness to travel and attend training as required.
