We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Delivery Driver cum Warehouse Assistant to support our logistics operations. This hybrid role involves delivering tableware to clients and assisting with warehouse tasks such as packing, inventory, and loading/unloading. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically fit, and takes pride in providing excellent service and accuracy in all duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adjust travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
  • Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
  • Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
  • Independently safely deliver and collect tableware products to and from client locations and events.
  • Report any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and secure transport
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
  • Perform daily checks and basic maintenance of delivery vehicle
  • Provide accurate time records of the delivery logs, inventory logs, and report any discrepancies
  • Coordinate with logistics team and provide customer service support where needed

Requirements Skills & Qualifications

  • Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy loads safely.
  • Valid driver's license, Class 3
  • Proven track record of safe and responsible driving with knowledge of local traffic laws
  • Ability to manage delivery schedules and ensure timely delivery and pickup independently.
  • The ability to utilize maps, GPS systems effectively.
  • Effective communication skills in problem-solving and customer service
  • Ability to coordinate with warehouse staff/admin/logistic admin and sales staff
  • Maintain delivery logs, signed receipts, and inventory checkllsts.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Basic knowledge of maintaining of the van eg. regular washing and cleaning
