Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring an ILS / RAM Engineer to join a dedicated engineering team supporting defence and naval projects. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) of systems and equipment throughout their life cycle. You will also lead the planning and implementation of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans tailored to project and customer requirements
  • Conduct Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability (RAM) analyses, including Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Perform supportability and maintainability analyses to optimize system support
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance strategies
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including manuals and logistics records
  • Collaborate with engineering, logistics, and procurement departments to align ILS/RAM efforts
  • Monitor system performance and recommend corrective measures
  • Provide logistics support and training to customers and end-users
Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in defence, MINDEF, or naval projects preferred
  • Knowledge and hands-on experience in ILS methodologies and defence logistics lifecycle
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and work closely with designers on maintenance requirements
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong interpersonal and project coordination skills
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently
  • Former regulars in the SAF or those with relevant defence background are highly encouraged to apply
  • Open to both Contract and Permanent roles
  • Singapore Citizens only
