We're looking for dynamic, responsible, and intellectually curious individuals to join us as Teaching Assistants – with a clear growth pipeline towards becoming full-fledged Teaching Interns and eventually, illum.e Specialist Teachers.

Your Role as a Teaching Assistant:
  • Support our signature English, GP, and Humanities classes (Primary to JC levels)
  • Assist with classroom logistics, student engagement, and learning materials
  • Mark assignments and provide feedback under the guidance of lead teachers
  • Be the bridge between students, teachers, and admin teams
  • Observe the best master teachers in action and learn pedagogical best practices
Our Educator Growth Pathway:
  1. Teaching Assistant (TA):

    Learn the ropes, observe masterclasses, mark work, and support lessons.
  2. Teaching Intern:

    Take on small-group teaching responsibilities under mentorship, attend structured training, and deepen curriculum planning involvement.
  3. Specialist Teacher:

    Lead full classes, co-develop teaching material, and become a signature face of illum.e education.

We're Looking For:
  • Current undergraduates or recent grads (Education, Humanities, or English preferred)
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Strong sense of initiative, time management, and reliability
  • Growth mindset and coachability — no teaching experience required; we'll train you
