Roles & Responsibilities

* Retail Store Assistant (Trainee Supervisor role)

* Singaporean / PR / LOC pass

* Geylang (near Aljunied MRT station)

* Salary range : $2,200 to $2,400 (based on experience and qualifications)

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Inventory management : replenishing new or out of stock items to the designated location.
  2. Customer service : helping customers find what they need, answering to their queries, handling returns and complains.
  3. Store management support : assist the store manager in managing the store including assisting in monitoring the inventory, keeping store clean and dealing with after-sales issues.
  4. Any other tasks assigned by the Store Supervisor or management.
  5. Upon completing the trainee program successfully, will be promoted to Assistant Supervisor within a short period of time.

Requirements:

  • Retail experience: 2-3 years in food, grocery, or similar retail preferred, but not required.
  • Technical skills: Preferably some knowledge and willing to learn SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and POS systems.
  • Communication skills: Fluent in English and Mandarin.
  • Qualification : Min. N or O Level
  • Customer-focused: Friendly, patient, and good-natured with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Capabilities : Able to handle retail duties and work on your feet.
  • Work Schedule : 5.5 day workweek with staggered shifts (first shift starts at 9:30 AM, last shift ends at 8:30 PM.
