We offer a unique and luxurious culinary experience with panoramic views of the bay. Our commitment to excellence extends to our beverage program, and we are currently seeking service crew to join our dynamic team and contribute to the success of our restaurant.

Position Overview: As a Service Crew and Bartender at Atelier by The Bay Restaurant, you will handling both the floor and bar with experienced seniors creating and serving an array of exceptional cocktails and beverages and experience for our guest. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is eager to learn and grow in a high-end dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer requests.
  • Mix cocktails, mocktails, beers, wines, coffees, and other drinks accurately and efficiently.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of different spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail ingredients and techniques.
  • Prepare garnishes and ensure beverages are visually appealing.
  • Set up the bar area before service, ensuring all necessary tools, glassware, garnishes, and ingredients are stocked and ready.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout service, adhering to hygiene and safety standards.
  • Operate and maintain bar equipment (e.g., blenders, shakers, jiggers, coffee machines).
  • Manage inventory and inform supervisors of low stock levels.
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately using POS systems.
  • Adhere to legal regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
  • Greet guests upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements when needed.
  • Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately, and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Clear tables promptly after guests have finished.
  • Assist with table setting and resetting.
  • Anticipate and address guests' needs and requests throughout their visit.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area and service stations.
  • Assist other team members as needed to ensure smooth service.
  • Follow all established service procedures and standards.
  • Maintain awareness of table availability and guest flow.
  • Assist in managing reservations when required.
  • Accurately enter orders into the POS system.
  • Ensure the accuracy of bills and process payments efficiently.
  • Upsell beverages and food items to guests.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • Passion for the art of mixology and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Knowledge of basic bar equipment and tools is preferred.
  • Must be of legal drinking age in Singapore.

Other Requirements & Benefits:

  • Transportation provided for staff working after 12:00 AM (midnight) and beyond.
  • Work is required on Fridays, Saturdays, and the eve of Public Holidays.
  • Shifts will be rotating, depending on staff availability.
  • Able to start immediately.
