Roles & Responsibilities

Location: Novena
Schedule: 5 Days a Week, Office Hours
On-Call: Rostered for Invasive Lab (No On-Call for Non-Invasive)

Position Overview
Take the next step in your career as a Cardiac Technologist, where you will play a critical role in patient care by supporting advanced cardiac procedures. You will have the opportunity to work with state-of-the-art equipment and collaborate with leading medical professionals, all while developing your expertise in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct pre-operative checks to ensure accurate patient identification and procedure preparation.
  • Record and input critical patient data into the cardiac information management systems.
  • Perform essential tasks including ECG lead placement, haemodynamic monitoring, and interpreting vital signs during procedures.
  • Identify and respond to major ECG abnormalities, ensuring immediate care for any life-threatening conditions.
  • Support cardiologists during invasive and non-invasive procedures, ensuring a high standard of care and safety for patients.
  • Maintain and operate sophisticated medical equipment, including RF generators, I-STAT machines, and other key cardiac monitoring tools.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, ensuring the highest standards of care and patient safety.
