Trainee Embryologist

Roles & ResponsibilitiesSelected candidate will undergo training in various aspect of Assisted Reproduction Technology (ART) procedures, involving handling, insemination and cryopreservation of eggs, sperm and embryos. Job Duties General Duties include but are not limited to the following : Perform andrology testing and routine andrology procedures. Assisting embryologist in ART procedures. Perform equipment maintenance and calibration procedures as required. Maintain safe and clean working environment. Have knowledge of, and complying with quality control, ethical issues and regulations surrounding gamete and embryo handling. Maintain records and documentation of laboratories. Qualifications & Requirements Degree in Life Sciences, Biology or related. No experience required; but preferably with some laboratory experience. High level of attention to details and documentation. Must be able to work on Sundays and Public Holidays as well as outside office hours whenever required.
