Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1. To manage and track progress to the timely completion of our projects (both tech and non-tech).

2. To know our trust system well, to be able to prepare business requirements for system changes and report formats, and to determine if data is available from our trust system.

3. To monitor, mitigate and rectify of risk exposure for the Private Trust business including investment risk, AML compliance risk, operational risk, regulatory risk, fiduciary risk, etc.

4. To support regular investment committee meetings to review Private Trust portfolios and follow up on steps to mitigate investment risk

5. To conduct accurate and meaningful data analytics of our business and accounting data for regular management, regulatory reporting, responses to surveys from regulators and authorities

6. Perform customer due diligence reviews for new client on-boarding, ongoing periodic reviews and material transactions such as termination, asset injection, distribution, etc.

7. Review of batch screening and manual screening alerts, investigate high risk clients and reporting where necessary, including Politically Exposed Persons, and obtaining all necessary documentation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • The candidate should have experience in project management, regulatory reporting, and data analytics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential, as it will be the main tool used for data analytics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience in trust operations, risk monitoring, or compliance will be an advantage.
  • Ability to understand business systems and translate requirements into actionable formats.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and engage stakeholders.
