Radio Surveyor

Responsibilities

• To carry out VDR/SVDR annual performance testsand statutory safety radio survey on board ships.
• Attend to enquiries and correspond with customers onstatutory survey matters.
• Monitor and updateinternational convention regulations and International MaritimeOrganization (IMO) requirements.
• Maintain andupdate survey checklists issued by classificationbodies.
• Maintain validity of approvalcertificates issued by classification bodies.
• Identify nature of survey and monitor daily statutorysurvey activities.
• Prepare survey report andsubmit to relevant classification authority.
• Record any non-conformities of equipment in the surveyreport.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties asassigned by the superior.

Requirements

·               Minimum Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / TelecommunicationsEngineering with at least two (2) years relevantexperience.

·               General Operators Certificate (GOC)
