Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Batch Job Scheduling & Monitoring

  • Schedule and monitor SAP batch jobs to ensure timely and accurate execution.
  • Use job scheduling tools to manage job execution and ensure SLA compliance.

Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution

  • Identify and resolve issues related to batch job failures or delays.
  • Collaborate with technical and functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve problems.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement long-term fixes.

Optimization & Automation

  • Analyze batch job performance and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and proactive monitoring.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain detailed documentation of batch job schedules, configurations, and processes.
  • Generate regular reports on job performance, SLAs, and incidents.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand batch processing needs.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on batch job functionalities and best practices.

Requirement:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or in related fields
  • Excellent SAP techno-functional knowledge with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.
  • Proven experience in Batch Management within SAP environments.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP job scheduling tools (e.g., SM36, SM37, Redwood, etc.).
  • Experience in SAP implementation or support projects involving batch operations.
