Roles & Responsibilities

Job Description

  • Provide support to the senior claim brokers with administrative tasks
  • Provide claims handling service to clients and intermediaries within established service standards to deliver a positive experience to clients and intermediaries
  • Responsible for day-to-day claims operation

Job Requirements

  • Manage and attend to all claims request, process and monitor all claims to settlement
  • Ensure all claims documentation and procedures adhere to the Company policies and procedures
  • Exercise prudence in claims processing and approval
  • Acknowledge, register and process claims within stipulated timeframes
  • Liaise with insurers and clients on all documentation and information required for settlement of claims
  • Provide regular updates and correspond with claimants, intermediaries, loss adjustors, relevant authorities for a speedy and accurate conclusion of the claim
  • Ensure prompt, fair and reasonable claim settlement
  • Review outstanding files
  • Ensure all claims are entered accurately into the system and diarised for follow up
  • Collate claims statistics/data for management reporting
  • Manage telephone and email correspondence on claims and payment enquiries

Skills Required:

  • Ability to prioritise and organise own workload
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to liaise with colleagues when appropriate.
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • Confident and possess effective written and oral communication skills.
