Job Overview:

Company Profile: Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. (QTI) is a world leader in 3G, 4G, 5G and next-generation wireless technologies and a leading developer and innovator of advanced wireless technologies and products. In order to drive our next phase of growth in mobile, we are expanding the Product Development and Test Engineering group at Test Center of Excellent at Singapore. The Product Development and Test Engineering group develops test solutions for design verification of highly integrated SoC chip for mobile application. We work with Design, System, Foundry, Program Management, Yield, Reliability, Marketing, Sales and Manufacturing teams to create, commercialize and support QTIs products.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Engineer will be responsible for characterization and developing cost-effective manufacturing test solution for IO within Qualcomm leading-edge SoC products in the most advanced processes.
  • Engineer will be developing Characterization and Test Plans, identifying DFT and test hardware requirements, ATE tests/routines/programs to execute test plans, driving first silicon debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries, performing technical data analysis of parametric performance, driving failure analysis to completion, analyzing high volume manufacturing yields and driving test time reduction.
  • Engineer with be working with IC design, system engineering and Hardware applications engineering in a time critical environment across the globe. The individual selected for the position, needs to be proactive, able to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment, enthusiastic to work as well as be passionate about delivering quality work.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. At least 3 years experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong working ATE knowledge (Advantest 93K ATE is preferred).
  • Knowledge of Electrical/Electronic engineering fundamentals, digital, analog, mixed-signal and VLSI. Knowledge on IO pad is preferred.
  • Experience working in both Windows and Unix/Linux operating system.

    Knowledge of computer programming fundamentals (Java, C/C++, Perl, Visual basic, Python, etc).
  • Knowledge of IO pad design, DC parameters testing and characterization across different IO (including DDRIO and HSIO) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of statistical concepts, analysis and techniques.
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
  • Independent, initiative and ability to overcome technical challenges.
  • Good organization and documentation skills.

Educational Requirements:

  • Required: Bachelor's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Preferred: Master's, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
