Roles & Responsibilities

The Accountant plays a crucial role in managing financial information and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records for the Company.

Tasks & responsibilities

The selected candidate will be part of the finance and accounting team and will be responsible for and not limited to the following:

  • Provide support to ensure timely, accurate month-end closing and financial reporting to Management.
  • Assist in the preparation and closing of monthly and annual financial statements.
  • Support accounting processes and tasks (i.e.: AP & AR process, GL, account reconciliation, etc.) such as daily checking of bank statements, handling and posting AR and AP transactions.
  • Assist in financial data extraction and preparation of reports for the business and management team.
  • Assist in coordinating and liaising with internal parties to support intercompany activities and external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, local tax and government authorities where required
  • Provide support for forecasting and budgeting exercises as per corporate guidelines.
  • Provide support for compliance with all finance filing requirements, tax filing requirements (GST, WHT, CIT, etc.), audit schedules/queries, procedures, and forms - both statutory and internal.
  • Assist in new processes and system implementation when required.
  • Assist in ad-hoc financial tasks as required.

Qualifications & experience

  • Degree/Diploma in Accounting or related qualifications.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience in Financial Institutions.
  • Able to handle a full set of accounts
  • Basic understanding of financial products and services.
  • Good knowledge of finance, numerical skills, and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate teamwork in facilitating workflow and a high level of cooperation with others.
  • Possess effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable using various software and tools for bookkeeping, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Hands-on, meticulous, independent, and a fast learner.
  • Good written and oral English communication skills.
  • Prior experience in a family office /private equity/venture capital environment will be an advantage.
  • Singaporeans and permanent residents only.
