Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 to L2 network and internal system support.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal business users, addressing issues related to computers, printers, IT appliances, and system usage.
  • Support senior staff in testing, implementation, training, and hyper-care for new functions.
  • Work closely with the central IT team to ensure adherence to security and compliance protocols.
  • Assist with the procurement, installation, configuration, and ongoing support of IT assets, while ensuring accurate tracking and updating of IT asset and license information for review by senior staff or the support manager.
  • Perform regular internal IT audits and reviews in line with established IT policies and procedures, and report any non-compliance issues to senior staff.
  • Follow the guidance of the IT support manager and senior IT support engineers to maintain and update a thorough knowledge base and FAQ for troubleshooting.
  • Identify recurring issues and report them to senior engineers for potential improvement solutions.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in both English and Mandarin to facilitate communication with Chinese-speaking associates.
  • Knowledge of SAP, Oracle Application Server, and MySQL.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive, with a positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing, shop floor control systems, network, and server support is preferred.
