Position: Senior Automation Engineer

Job Description:

We are currently expanding our team and are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer on site with a client. In summary, you will be supporting a large spectrum of automated systems within Manufacturing Operations, and be responsible for resolution of automation problems, implementation of Automation changes and troubleshooting in compliance with SDLC, GMP, safety, and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft qualification / validation protocols / reports, execute qualification / validation of equipment in accordance with relevant policies, standards, procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensuring the implementation of safety policies during all site activities including pre-planning, review of safe work plans, preparation of site work documentation and monitoring of safe work methods during execution.
  • Prepare and perform AIQ/AOQ, test plans, and documentation, ensuring documentation meets required regulatory standards
  • Participates in reviews as SME and completes action items as required
  • Develops Automation SOPs, Job Aids and procedures
  • Develops and updates Automation training packages, and conducts Automation training
  • Support for deviation and operation investigation requiring code and system-level troubleshooting.
  • Provides technical support on Siemens / Rockwell systems engineering works for change control, system modification & expansion.
  • Support PI & RtReport troubleshooting and improvement.
  • Support other technical changes and duties as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Siemens / Rockwell systems will be preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant life science field (e.g., biology, biotechnology, biochemistry).
  • Min. 7 years of relevant working experience in GMP environments is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Great team player. Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to develop close working relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external contacts at all levels
