Job Description
Maintain high standards of care by regularly cleaning and disinfecting treatment areas within the Avian & Exotics department to control disease spread.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene by frequently cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining kennels, cages and stalls to prevent soiling and odours.
Wash and sterilize all water and food bowls to maintain sanitary conditions.
Launder and dry towels and blankets to ensure a constant supply of clean linens.
Clean and disinfect food storage and preparation areas, including refrigerators and other equipment.
Replenish all consumable items such as syringes, needles, paper towels etc.
Collaborate with nursing and veterinary teams to ensure the work environment remains clean, organized, and professional always.
Communicate effectively with nursing and veterinary teams to report any pertinent observations or information related to patient care and hospital operations.
Working Hours:
5-day work week from Mondays to Fridays from 12pm to 9pm, inclusive of alternate Saturday shifts.
Desired Skills & Experience:
· Able to converse in English
· Prior experience working in the clinic/hospital settings will be advantageous
