Description

This is a leading integrated energy company operating one of the largest oil and gas portfolios in the world. In line with its growth plans in biofuels, there is now a newly created opportunity for a biofuel Trader.


Responsibilities

The Biofuel Trader will develop strategies and participate in biofuels trading activities by leveraging expertise, network, and insights in the product classes within the larger eco-system. Identifying opportunities to collaborate with global and regional business units and driving profitability in this rapidly evolving sector will be of key importance. The trader will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, buyers, and the industry stakeholders within the region and beyond.


Requirements

The successful candidate will ideally have a degree in a finance or engineering discipline, with more than 8 years' experience in biofuel trading. You will have proven experience in biofuel trading ideally within the region. You will also be described as meticulous, an excellent communicator with the ability to problem-solve independently and have strong interpersonal skills. Strong understanding of the Biofuels business value chain would similarly be critical.
