Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary:

Yayasan MENDAKI's Perform in School Department (PSD) focuses on preparing our children to be resilient & future-ready – particularly in the Primary and Secondary School level. PSD looks into Academic Support Intervention through our MENDAKI Tuition Programmes (MTP) for our school goers. We will also engage parents and children in our Empowerment Programmes to enhance our knowledge and discuss current affairs pertaining to education.

You will be supporting PSD in various department functions – from Event Management to Data Management & Administration, as an intern and will have opportunities to learn and work in meaningful and holistic projects for the community's school goers and their family.

You may be expected to work between speculated times on weekdays but also be required to work on evenings and over weekends, to support PSD events and/or programmes. (claimable via working hours time-off).

Primary Roles & Responsibilities

1.Assist PSD (Vital) Data Team in collecting, evaluating and analysing, reporting and distributing data and research for MENDAKI Tuition Programmes (MTP) and/or Education Support & Partnership initiatives:


•Monthly Data Collection and Reporting – assist in monthly reporting of PSD key figures for YM management. Ensures accuracy and prompt delivery of data, reports and audits.


•Database Management - Assist in the storage and maintenance of PSD database of programmes and initiatives for programme administration, evaluations, and audits.


•Programme Evaluation – Support in evaluating programmes and initiatives through feedback collection and recommend areas for improvement.


•Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) – support in the collation and maintenance of SOP for all programmes and initiatives, as well as PSD's internal operational processes.

2.Assisting PSD's Department Representative in handling general administration duties for internal stakeholders which includes, but not limited to:


•Administrating secretariat duties for Head of Department


•Maintenance of PSD's Calendar of Events.


•Maintenance of PSD's Staff HR Matters – Leave Plans, Training etc.


•Stakeholder Management - Point of Contact for internal communications.

Secondary Roles & Responsibilities

1.Supporting (Vital) Finance Team in the administrative processes for PSD's financial activities:


•Finance Administration – assist in ensuring accuracy and prompt processing of PSD's financial activities which includes, but not limited to, procurement and budgeting.


•Honorarium Processing – assist in monthly collation of Tutors' Honorarium process of MENDAKI Tuition Programmes (MTP) and/or Education Support & Partnership initiatives.


•Education Assistance Processing – assist in the administrative process of monthly disbursements for Student Assistance Scheme (SAS).

2.Supporting roles in various PSD's programme and initiatives, ensuring the smooth implementation of every programme (e.g. workshops or events).
