Roles & Responsibilities

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top Translation agencies in Singapore, with its main office in Japan. They are currently looking for an experienced Interpreter cum Translator (Japanese & English languages) to join their growing team in Singapore. Proficiency in both languages is required for effective communication with native Japanese speaking stakeholders and clients.

The Responsibilities:

  • Provide face-to-face and online interpretation (in any business setting) between Japanese and English
  • Translate documents from Japanese to English and English to Japanese
  • Communicate with clients via email and phone calls
  • Perform simultaneous interpretation at the client's site
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by the company

The Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience as an Interpreter cum Translator
  • Simultaneous interpretation experience is highly preferred
  • Proficient in both English and Japanese for effective communication with native Japanese speaking stakeholders and clients
