The Business Risk Integrated Control (BRIC)team is missioned to:
- Protect ByteDanceusers, including and beyond content consumers, creators,advertisers;
- Secure platform health andcommunity experience authenticity;
- Buildinfrastructures, platforms and technologies, as well as tocollaborate with many cross-functional teams andstakeholders.
The BRIC team works to minimizethe damage of inauthentic behaviors on ByteDance platforms (e.g.TikTok, CapCut, Resso, Lark), covering multiple classical and novelcommunity and business risk areas such as account integrity,engagement authenticity, anti spam, API abuse, growth fraud, livestreaming security and financial safety (ads or e-commerce),etc.
In this team you'll have a uniqueopportunity to have first-hand exposure to the strategy of thecompany in key security initiatives, especially in buildingscalable and robust, intelligent and privacy-safe, secure andproduct-friendly systems and solutions. Our challenges are not someregular day-to-day technical puzzles -- You'll be part of a teamthat's developing novel solutions to first-seen challenges of anon-stop evolvement of a phenomenal product ecosystem. The workneeds to be fast, transferrable, while still down to the ground tomaking quick and soliddifferences.
Responsibilities
1.Provide risk assessment and risk solution plans for differentproducts and businesses, promote the implementation of relevantplans, and ensure the safe development of TikTok , live broadcast,e-commerce and advertising business;
2. Developforward-looking risk control strategies through analyzing userbehavior, content, user feedback and other data, drive theimprovement and upgrade of product safety mechanism, and beresponsible for the effect of risk solutionplans;
3. Cooperate with tech, build and improverisk perception, identification, intervention and governance effectmeasurement system, and design common risk control products andservices that can support differentbusinesses;
4. Engage with variousbusiness,operation, tech and security/risk stakeholders to solverisk problems at scale;
5. Conduct in-depthinvestigation into the changing trend of CIB networks in differentcountries; be able to discern new risk points from the industry andbusiness trends,deploy risk control mechanisms in advance toprevent the occurrence ofrisks.
Qualifications
1.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to influence andreach agreements with others;
2. Ability tomaintain composure in critical situations and communicate clearlywith both internal and external stakeholders.
3.Bachelor degree or above, major in computer/informationsecurity/statistics/mathematics or related is preferred, withtechnical background is preferred;
4. At least 3years of working experience in Internet products, preferably instrategy, risk control or related fields;
5.Strong sense of responsibility and teamwork spirit, excellentlearning ability, and goal-oriented;
PreferredQualification:
1. Self-driven, curious to learnand work independently in a fast-paced environment and willing toaccept challenges and aim for the best
2.Minimum 3 - 5 years relevant work experience from a large-scaleinternet business
