Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an excellent background in Java technologies, including Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch, as well as extensive experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and frontend frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS, and NextJS. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and secure backend services and integrating them with various frontend technologies and AWS services to deliver comprehensive solutions.


Job Scope:

  1. Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.
  2. Implement RESTful web services to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend systems.
  3. Develop and maintain microservices architectures, ensuring seamless data flow and integration across various components.
  4. Work with frontend technologies like Angular, ReactJS, and NextJS to ensure smooth integration and deployment of full stack applications.
  5. Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration of applications, enhancing scalability and deployment efficiency.
  6. Leverage AWS cloud services for backend solutions, optimizing for performance, scalability and security.
  7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and troubleshoot any issues arising during the development lifecycle.
  8. Ensure compliance with code quality standards and best practices through regular code reviews and testing.
  9. Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in backend development, AWS services, and containerization tools to drive continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications:

  1. Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  2. AWS – Solution Architect Associate Certificate is required.
  3. Proven experience of at least 3 years in Java development, with a deep understanding of the Spring ecosystem, especially Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
  4. Experience in RESTful web services, microservices, Angular, ReactJS, NextJS, Docker.
  5. Proven hands-on software development experience.
  6. Experience with cloud services, notably AWS (Amazon Web Services).
  7. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies, especially Kubernetes.
  8. Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  9. Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Gitlab.
  10. Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment.
  11. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  12. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
