Job Duties:

  • Analyze market trends and dynamics in the coal market.
  • Identify trading opportunities based on market conditions, supply-demand fundamentals, and price movements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, buyers, and other stakeholders in the coal industry.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts for coal transactions.
  • Execute trades and manage positions in the coal market to optimize profitability.
  • Monitor and manage risks associated with coal trading, including price risk, credit risk, and operational risk.
  • Stay informed about regulatory developments, geopolitical factors, and other external factors that may impact the coal market.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including risk management, operations, and finance, to ensure smooth execution of coal trades.
  • Provide market insights and analysis to support decision-making within the organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of trades, positions, and market-related information.
  • Stay updated on industry news, research reports, and market intelligence to stay ahead of competitors and identify new opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualification: Diploma/Degree of relevant studies
  • Experience: 5 - 10 years in coal commodities trading
  • Flexibility in schedule to accommodate frequent travel requirements
