Roles & Responsibilities

  • Location: West
  • Salary: Up to $4000
  • Contract period: 1st week of Jun 2024 to End Nov 2024 (6-month Maternity Cover)


Responsibilities:

  • Process Journal reclassification and Intra-company transactions
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts e.g. intra-company related accounts
  • Prepare monthly Balance Sheet Schedules and ageing analysis
  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss Schedules
  • Monitor and follow up on aged items with respective stakeholders to ensure that Balance Sheet balances are current and up-to-date
  • Verification of supporting documents and follow up on requests with discrepancies, incorrect or incomplete information
  • Attend to queries from various Schools/Departments/Centers
  • Provide support to external and internal auditors on retrieval of supporting documents and queries.
  • Assist in other ad-hoc projects/ assignments as required


Requirements:

  • Recognized Diploma/Degree in Accountancy or equivalent with minimum 2 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in General Ledger, reconciliation and financial closing activities preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP financial system is an added advantage
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft office applications (e.g. Excel, Words)
