Job Scope

  • Lead the design and engineering of complex mechanical systems, including components, assemblies and prototypes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the highest quality standards
  • Analyse performance data, identify areas for improvement and implement optimisation strategies
  • Develop detailed technical documentation, drawings and specifications
  • Support the testing and validation of new mechanical designs
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineers
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in mechanical engineering

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in Senior Mechanical Design Engineer (Motors, Actuators, & Fluid Systems).
  • Proven expertise in CAD software, FEA and thermal/fluid analysis tools
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production environments
  • A collaborative, innovative mindset and a drive to deliver outstanding results
