Job Summary:


You will manage the entire testing process for new products from design to production. This includes identifying testing needs, developing test equipment, and creating automated testing methods.


Essential Functions:

  • Work with design teams to ensure products are designed for effective testing.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to meet goals.
  • Purchase and set up test equipment for new products.
  • Choose appropriate test strategies with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Develop test hardware, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing tests.
  • Create and debug test software to ensure reliable and repeatable tests.
  • Document all aspects of the test process, including plans, specifications, coverage, and procedures.

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (EE), Electrical Engineering Technology (EET), Electrical Engineering/Computer Science (EE/CS), or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience as a test engineer in a team environment, designing and developing test equipment.
  • Experience with programming languages such as C, C++, C#, NI TestStand, or BT Basic is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand electronic circuit schematics and bills of materials (BOM).
  • Knowledge of electronic hardware.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills in English.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
