Job Description:

As a Panel Beater, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring vehicle bodywork to its original condition. You will work on accident-damaged vehicles, removing dents, replacing damaged panels, and ensuring high-quality finishing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess vehicle damage and determine the best repair techniques.
• Remove, repair, or replace damaged panels and body components.
• Use specialized tools and equipment to reshape and align panels.
• Perform welding, grinding, filling, and sanding to smooth out repairs.
• Fit and align new body parts to restore the vehicle's shape.
• Ensure all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
• Work with painters to prepare surfaces for painting.
• Follow workplace safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Keep accurate records of repairs and work completed.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience as a Panel Beater/Body Repair Technician.
Knowledge of automotive body repair techniques and tools.
Ability to work with sheet metal, plastic, and composite materials.
Experience with welding, grinding, and filler applications.
Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and repair instructions.
Strong teamwork and communication skills.
Physically fit and able to handle heavy tools and equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Automotive Body Repair or relevant trade qualifications.
Experience working in an automotive workshop or body repair shop.
