Reports to: Clinical Lead & Hub Manager
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team at UFIT Health & Fitness. The successful candidate will play a key role in helping clients recover from injuries, enhance their physical well-being, and achieve their health and fitness goals.
As a physiotherapist at UFIT, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of experts including nutritionists, podiatrists and coaches to ensure comprehensive care and optimal recovery for clients of all ages and fitness levels. Access to state-of-the-art facilities and a supportive team environment will empower you to deliver evidence-based treatments and personalized care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose clients' physical conditions and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Provide evidence-based and effective physiotherapy treatments, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
- Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal recovery.
- Collaborate with UFIT's multidisciplinary team to create integrated treatment plans and improve overall client outcomes through the Circle of Care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and timely reporting of client progress to doctors and insurance providers in accordance with professional and organizational standards.
- Participate in team meetings & events and continuing professional development (CPD) activities.
- Provision of physiotherapy care to UFIT-sponsored sports teams or at UFIT-sponsored sports events.
- Adhere to all health and safety protocols, maintaining a safe, clean, and professional environment for clients and staff.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy from an institution recognized by the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC), or passed the AHPC Qualifying Examination.
- Licensing: Full registration with AHPC.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. Pitchside coverage experience and any additional qualifications in strength & conditioning is desirable.
- Skills:
- Knowledge and experience of a wide range of musculoskeletal assessment and treatment approaches for a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions.
- Strong hands-on treatment skills and knowledge of physiotherapy modalities (manual therapy, exercise prescription, dry needling, etc.).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage clients and build rapport.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

Staff entitlement
Working Hours
- 5.5 days/week
- Clinic blocks are 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm or 4pm-8pm, Monday to Saturday.
- A maximum of 2 blocks are available per therapist per day, set in collaboration with Clinical Lead
- Additional hours outside of blocks are subject to availability and approval of clinical lead.
- If a block falls on a public holiday, the individual is not required to work.
Annual Leave
- 21 days per calendar year, subject to manager's approval
- Maximum 14 consecutive days not at work (including weekends and public holidays)
