Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:

  • Independently assess and manage patients referred for physiotherapy and implement appropriate treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient records and therapy sessions.
  • Ensure proper billing of patients and maintain up-to-date performance records.
  • Adhere to clinical and service standards.
  • Supervise Therapist Assistants within the workgroup.
  • Guide and mentor new physiotherapists during induction.
  • Supervise students on clinical attachments.
  • Seek clinical support from supervisors or other healthcare professionals when necessary
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Assist and/or lead projects assigned to the workgroup.
  • Oversee and manage therapy equipment inventory.
  • Review and update clinical protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Support the development, promotion, and marketing of new clinical services.
  • Contribute to in-service training programs, hospital educational talks, and external workshops/seminars.
  • Continuously update physiotherapy knowledge and skills.

Requirements:

  • Min Degree in Physiotherapy.
  • Full AHPC registration is an advantage.
  • Min 1-3 years of relevant work experience preferred.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Service-oriented and customer-focused.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
