Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Public Relations Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in public relations and media design, with a strong focus on communication, conflict resolution, and proactive stakeholder management. You will play a vital role in maintaining the company's public image, addressing feedback, managing complaints, and ensuring effective communication during construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle, communicate, and resolve conflicts, feedback, and complaints related to ongoing projects.

• Work closely with contractors to address and resolve complaints arising from construction activities in a timely and professional manner.

• Participate in project meetings, take accurate minutes, and ensure that any public relations concerns are effectively communicated.

• Maintain records of all public relations-related cases, communications, and correspondences related to projects.

• Develop and implement public relations strategies to enhance the company's reputation and maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.

• Coordinate and manage media relations, ensuring the company's messaging is consistent across all channels.

• Design and create media materials, including press releases, brochures, and digital content to support communication efforts.

• Monitor media coverage, industry trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for proactive public relations efforts.

• Provide crisis communication support when required, addressing negative publicity or issues promptly and professionally.

• Support other teams, such as marketing and social media, to align public relations activities with broader company initiatives.

• Perform ad-hoc duties such as document control according to ISO standard.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public relations, media design, or a similar communication role.

• Proven experience in managing stakeholder communication, handling complaints, and resolving conflicts, particularly in the construction or infrastructure industry.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate company positions clearly and effectively.

• Experience in attending project meetings and accurately recording minutes.

• Creative and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.

• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to maintain comprehensive records and documentation.

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Media, or a related field.
