SYSTEMSSCIENCE DEPARTMENT

Research Scientist (Urban Systems &Transportation modelling)

We arelooking for researchers who are highly motivated with a passion fordeveloping solutions relating to modelling and simulation oftransportation and complex urban systems. The candidate will join amultidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers to develop nextgeneration transport and urban R&D solutions, leveraging onadvanced AI and digital twin technologies. The role is expected towork both internally and externally with collaborators/stakeholdersfrom industry and government agencies.

Requirements

• PhDin Computer Science/Engineering/Computing/Information Systems/CivilEngineering or equivalent

• At least 5 years ofexperience

• Relevant experience/expertise in atleast one of the following areas: Transport system modelling,Agent-based simulation, Geo-spatial analysis, Digitaltwin

• Strong interests in statisticalmodelling, optimization, AI

• Proficient inprogramming languages like Java, Python or C++

•Self-driven and motivated team player

•Curiosity and passion to learn new things

• Goodwritten and verbal communication skills
