Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the Conformance Test team: Support Derivatives and Securities members in testing their applications and awarding conformance certificates. The team is responsible for maintaining the conformance test cases, helping members execute the test cases, ensuring member test environments are available, and issuing conformance test certificates.
  • Organizing and overseeing Industry Wide Tests (IWT): Required when SGX makes significant changes to their systems or APIs. The IWT ensures that members and SGX systems and processes, including failover and disaster recovery, work as designed.
  • Leading and managing the conformance test team to deliver high-quality testing services for our members.
  • Developing and implementing test strategies and plans to ensure comprehensive coverage of IWTs.
  • Coordinating with project managers, members, and other stakeholders to align testing activities with project timelines and goals.
  • Ensuring timely and clear communication with our members by leveraging internal stakeholders.
  • Establishing and maintaining automated testing frameworks and tools to support members testing outside usual support hours.
  • Monitoring and reporting on testing progress, defects, and quality metrics to senior management.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in software testing, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience within the financial services industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and delivering high-quality testing solutions, ideally within the financial services industry.
