A restaurant waiter must be a versatile person, capable of juggling multiple responsibilities while maintaining a focus on providing excellent service and driving the restaurant’s success. This position reports to Restaurant Manager.
角色和职责: Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Greet and welcome guests, taking orders and serving food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. 及时高效地迎接和欢迎客人、接受订单并提供食品和饮料。
2. Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. 提供优质的客户服务,及时回复客户的询问并解决任何问题。
3. Maintain a thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and pairing suggestions. 全面了解菜单,包括配料、准备方法和搭配建议。
4. Take orders accurately and efficiently, using a point-of-sale system. 使用销售点系统准确高效地接受订单。
5. Serve food and beverages, ensuring that orders are delivered correctly and in a timely manner. 提供食品和饮料,确保订单正确及时地交付。
6. Maintain a clean and organized dining environment, including tables, chairs, and floors. 保持干净整洁的就餐环境,包括桌椅和地板。
7. Assist with setting up and breaking down tables, including linens, silverware, and glassware. 协助布置和拆卸桌子,包括床单、银器和玻璃器皿。

要求: Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent required. 需要高中文凭或同等学历。
2. Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant environment preferred. 有在餐厅环境中担任服务员的经验者优先。
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skill. 优秀的沟通和人际交往能力。
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. 能够在快节奏的环境和多任务中工作。
