Job Title: Counselling Psychologist

We are seeking qualified and experienced Counselling Psychologist to join our team on a contract basis. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide online therapy sessions to clients seeking mental health support. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide evidence-based psychological interventions in a remote setting.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with our team of psychologists, counsellors, and other wellness professionals to integrate counselling into clients' holistic treatment plans.
  2. Conduct online therapy sessions with clients using secure video conferencing platforms.
  3. Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health concerns, personal history, and holistic wellness goals.
  4. Develop personalized counselling treatment plans that address clients' mental incapacitation and promote overall well-being.
  5. Provide individual and group counselling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based therapy approaches.
  6. Offer guidance and support to clients as they explore and process emotions, thoughts, and behaviors that contribute to their mental health challenges.
  7. Facilitate psychoeducation sessions on topics related to mental health, self-care, stress management, and holistic wellness.
  8. Empower clients to develop coping skills, resilience, and self-awareness to navigate life's challenges and promote personal growth.
  9. Stay informed about current research and best practices in psychology counselling and mental health.

Requirements:

  1. Master's degree or higher in Counselling Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  2. Registered counsellor with the Singapore Association for Counselling
  3. Minimum of 2 years of experience providing counselling services, preferably in a holistic or mental health setting.
  4. Able to commit to a minimum of 10 consultation sessions per week.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge of client-centered approaches to counselling and their application in mental health care.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trusting relationships with clients.
  7. Commitment to providing ethical and culturally sensitive counselling services that respect clients' autonomy and diversity.
  8. Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and Saturdays, to accommodate client schedules.
  9. Passion for mental wellness and a genuine desire to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing mental incapacitation.
