About the team

Our Search Architecture Team isresponsible for building up and optimizing the architecture for ourSearch Engine to provide the best experience for our TikTok ShopSearch users.

This person will be responsiblefor the design and development of the global e-commerce searchsystem architecture, ensuring system stability and highavailability; responsible for online services, offline data flowperformance optimization, solving performance bottlenecks, reducingcosts and unlocking.

Responsibilities

-Responsible for the globale-commerce search system of TikTok and its affiliated products, andsolve the architecture optimization problem of the searcharchitecture system;

-Support the design anddevelopment of the global e-commerce search system , and the outputcore search capabilities of bytes and high-quality content topartners;

-Focus on Architecture abstractionand process optimization for search scenarios, support large-scalemachine learning optimization;

-Focus onlarge-scale systems with high concurrency and high throughput,improve system stability, performance, and scalability;

-Research and development and optimization ofcore components, application and implementation of newtechnologies;

-Research, design, and developcomputer and network software or specialised utility programs;

-Analyse user needs and develop softwaresolutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science,engineering, and mathematical analysis;

-Updatesoftware, enhances existing software capabilities, and develops anddirect software testing and validation procedures;

-Work with computer hardware engineers tointegrate hardware and software systems and develop specificationsand performancerequirements.

Qualifications

MinimumQualifications

- Bachelor'sdegree or above, majoring in Computer Science, or related fields;

- Experience in programming, included but notlimited to, the following programming languages: C, C++, Java orGolang;

- Solid programming ability, excellentdesign and code style, enthusiastic about technical challenges;

- Effective communication skills and a sense ofownership and drive;

- Experienced in at leastone area of the following areas: personalized recommendations,search engine, machine learning, distributed storage system, bigdata frameworks is a plus.
